Reminded of how music helps me to help others....

I was just chatting with an old friend named Everett from high school yesterday and it was really great to catch up with him because I haven't talked to him in...about 5 years? Anyway, the thing I wanted to point out was that I was really surprised about how he remembered that I had helped him with his music audition. He applied to Western Washington University and needed to put together an audition tape in order to get into their wind ensemble. I accompanied him on piano and it turned out that he did make it in. It's just a great feeling to know that playing music can also help me to help benefit others. (Does that make sense?) After talking to Everett, I had these flashbacks of my past and I have to admit..without music in my life, my life would have not been as exciting. Throughout high school and college, I remember helping out with my friend's sorority club at UH Manoa for a talent show and playing for different church groups, ceremonies, banquets, helping out with friends' auditions, doing on campus shows, and just recently..a wedding :) I just love getting invites to play..So if you have any requests (Hawaii people only haha) or in need of a piano player, let me know!

I had a really fun time. Cedric and Kim's wedding was beautiful. The decorations were beautiful, the center pieces were beautiful, the banquet room was beautiful..just everything =) It actually makes me want to go to another wedding.
